Pyotr Sych
Plumber, the hero
Perk: Pipeline: crawls through vents.
A tired fatalist who measures everything in clogs.
Turn-based space horror. One plumber. One plunger.
Seventy-two hours ago something went very wrong on mining station Styx-9. Sych was busy fixing a clog.
PC (Windows). Steam page in early 2027, release planned for autumn 2027.
Styx-9 is a GalaktoNedra mining station on a nameless asteroid past Pluto, fourteen months from the nearest burger joint. The miners opened a cavity with a living membrane that rewrites the DNA of everything it touches. Three days later the station is a meat anthill. The corporation responded quickly: it cut downtime bonuses.
You play Pyotr Sych, plumber third class. He survived because he was inside the waste disposal unit when it happened. He is not a soldier or a scientist, but he knows every pipe on the station, and that is his main weapon. Gather the survivors, clear the station sector by sector across 20 levels, and decide what to do about the thing sitting in its core.
The mutants remember pieces of their old lives. The cook still cooks, the guard still asks for your pass, the accountant still counts. The survivors call them the Kin.
20 levels in four acts, nine survivors to recruit, four endings and one of them is a secret. Black humor first, horror second, paperwork always.
Tactical turn-based combat with a rotating isometric camera, destructible cover and fog of war.
Each unit has 4 per turn for moving, shooting, reloading and using things.
Every shot and kicked door raises the sector alarm. At 100% reinforcements crawl out of the vents.
Each unit has its own. Horrors drain it, and at zero a unit panics or shoots its own.
Only Sych can crawl through the station plumbing and get around the enemy.
Rescued staff join the squad with their own perks or go to the shelter and give passive bonuses.
Wounded units build it up. At 100% they become Kin, permanently.
Personnel files of the staff who are still technically on shift.

Twenty chapters, one per level, five pages each. Corporate cheer on top of a catastrophe.
Chapter 1 is out: the shift is not over, and BARSIK writes the first fine.
Miner Grisha Glubin reminds you: a smile is part of the uniform.
GalaktoNedra is not responsible for mutations, loss of limbs, loss of self or unscheduled singing. Coupons are not exchangeable for money, evacuation or sympathy. A smile is deducted from wages if not worn. GalaktoNedra is a fictional corporation. Any resemblance to your employer is a coincidence, probably.
